This is a journey song, about seekers of light. The Christian Nativity Narratives tell of two journeys. The Shepherds in the fields surrounding Bethlehem saw a great light, accompanied by angelic choirs (Sky People, in Huron cosmology). And the Astrologists, Magi, from the East, see the light of a great star (comet?), which they followed in quest of enlightenment. To this day we look to the East for wisdom, healing and enlightenment.
